If you want to permanently roof your terrace
A pergola with a fixed roof is the obvious choice when you want your patio to be permanently covered and do not need to open the roof or perform the tilting of the roof slats. For the roof of the LAMELINO LITE pergola, we have chosen a fixed roof made of trapezoidal sheet metal.
Unlike the LAMELINO bioclimatic pergola with adjustable revolving slats, it offers constant and uniform protection from the sun and adverse weather conditions.
Pergola on the terrace with a fixed roof
We manufacture LAMELINO LITE to measure according to the specific terrace. The construction can have a width up to 5 metres, a projection up to 7.05 metres and support column heights up to 3.2 metres.
The roof of the pergola is made of sturdy T130 trapezoidal sheet metal, selected for its strength and load-bearing capacity. It is galvanised and finished with a PE 15 coating. So, if you are looking for a covered pergola or a truly safe pergola for your terrace with a remarkable load-bearing capacity of up to 200 kg/m², LAMELINO LITE offers a comprehensive structural solution.
Rainwater drains away inside the construction
However, a single-piece pergola roof requires effective water drainage. Water from the roof flows into the gutters and then drains away through pipes concealed within the support columns / uprights.
You can choose the direction of drainage and the roof pitch as required – this allows you to quickly drain water, for example, into the sewer system or a retention tank.
LAMELINO LITE is not a fully waterproof roof. The construction is guaranteed to be 97 per cent resistant to rain leakage.
A pergola next to the house or freestanding on the terrace
If you are looking for a pergola to install next to your house or a garden pergola, the LAMELINO LITE SINGLE is suitable as a free-standing construction.
LAMELINO LITE WALL allows the pergola to be anchored to the wall of the house, making it ideal as a patio pergola.
As the pergola/pergola’s roofing is not hermetically sealed to the beams, the gap between them and the roof allows for partial ventilation.
You can complement the shading with screen blinds.
A fixed roof shades the space from above. However, if you also wish to block out the low morning or evening sun, you can supplement LAMELINO LITE with screen roller blinds. These can also be fitted retrospectively.
This creates a perfectly shading pergola that combines a fixed roof with side shading. Furthermore, perimeter LED lighting can be integrated into the construction and, with the appropriate motor, the screens can be connected to the TaHoma system.

What is the difference between LAMELINO LITE and LAMELINO?
LAMELINO LITE has a fixed roof, whilst the bioclimatic LAMELINO uses motorised, tilting aluminium slats. With LAMELINO, you can therefore regulate the amount of sunlight and airflow. LITE is designed for customers who prefer a fixed roof.
How large can the LAMELINO LITE pergola be?
The width of the basic module can be up to 5 metres, and the projection can reach 7.05 metres. The exact design options will be assessed by the dealer based on the specific installation site.
Can the pergola be fitted with screen roller blinds?
Yes. The construction allows for the use of screen roller blinds, which can shade the sides of the pergola and also help to increase privacy.
Can lighting be integrated into the pergola/pergola?
Yes. LAMELINO LITE can be fitted with LED lighting integrated into the perimeter profiles.
Who will measure up and install the pergola?
CLIMAX manufactures bespoke pergolas. Measurements, quotations, installation and after-sales service are provided by your local authorised CLIMAX dealer.
How large can a LAMELINO LITE canopy be?
The basic module can have a width of up to 5 metres and a projection of up to 7.05 metres. The canopy is made to measure according to the specific installation site.
How is rainwater drained from the canopy?
Water from the roof is channelled into the guttering and then through two drainpipes running inside the support columns / uprights.
Can the canopy be installed on an existing paved surface?
Yes, provided the surface is suitable for securely anchoring the construction. The specific solution must be assessed by the supplier during the site survey.
Is the LAMELINO LITE canopy completely waterproof?
No. The construction is not a full-fledged building roof and 100% permeability cannot be guaranteed. LAMELINO LITE achieves 97% resistance to rain leakage.
Can the pergola be installed on an existing terrace?
Yes, provided the substrate is suitable for securely anchoring the construction. The requirements for foundations and anchoring are the same as for the bioclimatic LAMELINO.
How much snow can the roof bear?
LAMELINO LITE has been tested for a load of 200 kg/m². However, if there is a larger amount of snow, it is necessary to clear the snow from the roof.
What is the pergola’s wind resistance?
The stated wind resistance of LAMELINO LITE is 88 km/h and, according to the documentation, this does not vary with the pergola dimensions. However, installed roller blinds increase the forces acting on the construction.
Won’t it be too hot under a fixed roof in summer?
The construction is not completely enclosed. Warm air can flow out between the beam and the trapezoidal sheet metal. However, the bioclimatic LAMELINO offers better natural ventilation options thanks to the possibility of opening the slats.
