She joined CLIMAX in 2006 as International Sales Manager, where she was responsible for the whole of Germany. After two years, she moved into strategic purchasing, which she was then in charge of. After 4 years in Germany, she was offered a job as a salesperson in Switzerland. Thanks to Margita, CLIMAX cooperated with the successful Swiss company Baumann Sonnenschutz GmbH. The cooperation lasted two years until the owners decided to close the company. In order not to lose the results of the long-term efforts, the first significant successes and increasing volumes,

CLIMAX established its own subsidiary in Switzerland on the 1st of June 2016 under the name Climax Swiss GmbH. The subsidiary is based in the picturesque town of Altendorf, located on the southern shore of Lake Zurich. "With Switzerland being the cradle of shading, the best-selling products here are external blinds, both the Z-90 Noval and the C-80 Vental. We also have customers who like the T-80, which is a positive surprise for the conservative Swiss market. There is also great interest in Protal, which is historically seen as the Mercedes of all-metal blinds in Switzerland. It is still a concept here. And there is also a growing interest in façade shading," says Margita, who has got it right with Swiss customers over the years.

"I don't have any negotiating tactics. But the most important thing is a speed of response and open communication. A salesperson has to be completely natural and authentic with a Swiss customer. It's important to really say what one thinks and stand by it. Don't make promises you can't keep. And even if something goes wrong, to say it openly and quickly arrange a remedy," she reveals the recipe for being successful as a salesman in this country. Margita's favourite motto "Never give up!" is so accurate. "And I have another favourite motto, from John Lennon: 'Everything always works out well in the end. And if it doesn't turn out well, then it's not over yet," adds Margita Haničáková with a smile of her own.
